Campaign Phases

The campaign unfolded in two distinct phases — the Free Staking Phase and the Lockup Phase, running from 12:00pm UTC on 1st February to 12:00pm UTC on 9th March, offering participants opportunities to actively engage and reap rewards throughout the campaign duration.

Free Staking Phase

• Duration: 12:00pm UTC, 1st Feb — 12:00pm UTC, 29th Feb
• During this phase, participants could freely make wstETH and ETH deposits and withdrawals, enabling flexibility in managing their staking activities.

Lockup Phase

• 12:00pm UTC, 29th February — 12:00pm UTC, 9th March
• All Lockup Phase participants were eligible to receive the final phase incentives, including those who did not qualify for Bonus Pool incentives. (New deposits or withdrawals were not allowed during this phase.)

Bonus Pool

• Rewards were set to be accrued during the Free Staking Phase and distributed in the Lockup Phase.
• Only users who had not made any withdrawal during the Free Staking Phase were eligible to receive incentives from the Bonus Pool.
• Users exited prior to Lockup Phase would forfeit their bonus rewards and users who rolled into Lockup Phase would be eligible to claim all rewards in the Bonus Pool (including those forfeited rewards from exited users).

Campaign Incentives

Distribution of $ARB Incentives

• Initially, 16,000 $ARB tokens were allocated in the first week (Jan 1st — Jan 8th, 2024), with incentive amounts subject to regular review and weekly updates.
• 60% of incentives were allocated to the Free Staking Phase (equivalent to 9,600 $ARB);
• The remaining 40% (equivalent to 6400 $ARB) were set to be accumulated in the Bonus Pool for distribution according to the rules during the Lockup Phase.

Distribution of Shields Incentives

• wstETH Pool: A total of 3,200,000 Shield were set to be allocated as incentives for the first week, distributed at a rate of 1 $ARB token to 200 Shield across different activity phases.
• ETH Pool: User Shields Rewards = (User ETH Staked/Total ETH Staked) * Distribution Rate; The amount of Shields received per second would be based on the users’ staked ETH. The Shield reward was calculated by their share of funds (the percentage of a user’s staked amount vs total staked) multiplied by the distribution rate (shields allocated per second).The distribution rate per second was determined based on the total number of shields allocated weekly.

Total Value Locked

During the Free Staking Phase, a remarkable total of over 2,100 ETH has been staked, driving the overall value to surpass 8.61 million.

Significantly, a substantial portion of this total, standing at 8.41 million, has smoothly transitioned into the current Lockup Phase, highlighting the strong engagement and dedication demonstrated by participants throughout the campaign.

Maximizing Returns

In order to continue earning staking rewards, participants are advised to undertake the following actions:

• Retain their saETH on Arbitrum and remain informed about forthcoming incentive initiatives campaigns.
